Clothing Requirements

Vista Mind and Body has the following clothing requirements when participating in any of our sessions as stated below. Note that clothing requirements may change from session to session. For all sessions - As a courtesy to other clients who are scent sensitive, refrain from wearing scents (perfume, lotions, smoke, or fragrance producing products). Sonotherapy (Sound Therapy) Treatments & the VibroAcoustic Bed - Clients should wear loose, comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. During cooler weather, you might want to wear warm clothing as often your body temperature may drop during the session. You may chose to bring a small pillow (for the Sonotherapy sessions) and optional eye mask. Vista Mind and Body provides light weight blankets for your convenience. Chakra Cleansing Rainbow Mat - Clients should wear loose, comfortable clothing, however, they are required to have their entire body covered – No shoes are allowed on the mat, but socks must be worn. Clients will not be allowed to use the mat wearing only shorts, short skirts, tank tops, or sports bras. Red Light Therapy and Near Infrared Light Therapy - Although Near Infrared Light will penetrate light clothing, Red Light does not. All areas being treated by the Red Light need to be exposed to the light. It is recommended that clients wear comfortable clothing. They may choose to wear shorts and women may choose to wear a sports bra. We do not allow clients to use our Red Light Systems in the nude or wearing only undergarments. Clients are required to wear tanning goggles during Red Light sessions. Vista Mind and Body has goggles available for purchase ($2.50 each) for the clients that do not bring their own. Halotherapy (Salt Therapy) - Clients should wear loose, comfortable clothing – preferably light colors, as the salt can show more on darker colored clothes (but is easily brushed off). Some clients prefer to wear shorts and a tank top to expose your skin and allow the salt you don’t inhale to land on your skin and provide that benefit. No shoes are allowed in the salt chamber, but socks must be worn. It is advisable that people going into a salt room remove all personal jewelry, glasses, and other belongings since salt can be corrosive to exposed metal. Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna with Red Light and Himalayan Salt - Men - Bathing suit or shorts Women - Bathing suit or shorts and sports bra No shoes are allowed in the sauna We do not allow clients to use the sauna in the nude or wearing only undergarments Clients are required to wear goggles when the Red Light is activated. Vista Mind and Body has goggles available for purchase ($2.50 each) for the clients that do not bring their own. Massage - For Thai Massage clients should wear cotton pants because Thai Massage is performed on a Thai floor mat. If you have any questions regarding the clothing requirements at our center, please call and discuss the requirements prior to arrival. Failure to abide by our clothing restrictions will result in being denied to particpate in specific sessions.
